Susan is a theatre maker based in the North East of England. She creates work rooted in inclusive practice with a diverse range of communities. Passionate about representing lived experience, her work illuminates stories and perspectives that encourage audiences to look at the world through a different lens. To feel something new and build relationships with people they may never ordinarily connect with.
One of Susan’s greatest strengths is her ability to translate lived experience into compelling, nuanced theatre. She navigates sensitive subject matter with both empathy and clarity, never shying away from difficult questions but always holding space for hope, humour and resilience.
